Necessary website technologies.
Technologies required to deliver, protect or remember an expressly requested function are considered separately from optional analytics and advertising. The final inventory must identify the actual provider, purpose and duration of any such technology.
Optional technologies.
No advertising pixels or optional analytics are planned for the initial static site. If optional tracking is introduced, it must be assessed before loading and presented with the choices required for the relevant use and jurisdiction.
Your choice.
Where consent is used, the website should let you accept optional technologies, reject them or customize categories without preselected optional choices. Controls must affect actual loading, and withdrawing must be as accessible as accepting.
Not just cookies.
Similar rules can concern local storage, embedded media and other device-access or tracking technologies. A service described as cookieless is not automatically free of privacy obligations.
Application settings are separate.
Website choices do not automatically change Klips desktop diagnostics preferences. For application behavior, use the app's Privacy settings and the privacy guide.
